![]() ![]() Do you think playing sports has helped you navigate during uncertain times? Jay: I think the biggest struggle people have is “doubt”. And people of all walks of life are going through this and I’m very careful not to be speaking and talking about what someone should or shouldn’t do. It’s like it is over my head but I try to listen, try to pay attention to the experts and those are the medical people, in my opinion. I don’t know what I can personally deal with. So many lives are involved here, all around the world. ![]() Joe Namath: Well, my family and I are healthy, so we got to start with our health and my daughters and their families are in good shape. How are you and your family doing during this time? ![]() Jay: It’s an honor to speak with you, Joe. I had the unique pleasure of catching a few minutes with Joe to hear some of his thoughts about the game of football and how the pandemic has changed the world. Since retiring, Joe has been involved with many different initiatives helping others, including his organization Having lived under the brightest lights in sports for so many years has enabled him to inspire others both in and out of sports. Few have reached his level of greatness and his humble attitude and sage advice continues to inspire everyone who speaks with him.
